Here’s a story for you…a story of two freelancers, three books and quite a lot of penguins!
A few months ago I went to a book launch – for Emma Cossey’s book The Freelance Lifestyle. I’ve known Emma since my early freelancing days in 2013, and did one of her original intro to freelancing courses when I first started.
And although we’ve mainly seen each other online since then, she is local to me, so when I spotted she was doing a book launch I wanted to go along and support her.
I took along a copy of my illustrated book Things I Know About Creativity, which she’d bought, and a copy of one of my other illustrated books Weird Penguin’s Thoughts on Freelance Life to give to her as a book launch gift.
What happened next
We realised that there was a nice alignment between our thoughts on creativity and freelancing – and decided to create a book bundle offer to spread our thoughts further afield. Two books about freelancing and one book about creativity.
A few weeks ago we recorded a couple of conversations about those two topics!
