I draw weird-looking penguin doodles. Why? I’m not really sure. It all started when I drew some strange cartoon penguins for a work ‘art’ competition in 2011. And then I started drawing them when I was bored or procrastinating.

I admitted this to the Being Freelance members at the end of 2023, and instead of declaring I was crazy, they embraced the idea – and it led to me setting up an Instagram page for my penguins. And a book, which you can buy here.

Since I first told people about my penguins, I have drawn a few for commissions, I have given away some free ones as a thank you for market research chats, and I love attending the Create Connect online networking each month because I just sit there and make notes in the form of penguins.
