The Untangling session – a 1:1 call
This is for you if…..
- You are someone who has a creative mind and a lot of ideas
- You’re a creator, communicator, coach, consultant
- You are self-employed (at any stage of your journey)
….. AND
- You’re stuck, overwhelmed, frustrated and going round in circles!
- You’ve got too many ideas, too many services, or too many choices and it’s stopping you from moving forwards
- Because while you’re undecided, you keep changing your mind and keep having new ideas
- And it’s making you doubt yourself and forget what you’re really good at, what people always ask you for help with
Imagine if…
You could finally choose from one of the ideas or options that all feel like they need your attention right now – so that you can start making something happen for a change.
And maybe we could also start to map out one or two aspects of what’s needed to make an idea happen, so that you can take the first steps.
That’s the kind of thing we do in an Untangling session. Each one is bespoke to the client – we work on what you need, because everyone has a different situation.
What does it include?
- Some pre-call e-mails to figure out where you want to focus
- A 1 hour call on Google Meet or Zoom
- A summary of the key points of the call (written by me, not by an AI note taker)
- A 30 minute follow-up call a couple of weeks later
- The option to add ongoing accountability support (extra cost) if needed
Cost – £150

More details on how to book
STEP 1. If you think that sounds like something you need, send me a message with some details about the thing you’d like us to untangle in our time together
STEP 2. I might reply with some questions, I might not – depends on whether we already know each other and how much detail you’ve given about your challenge
STEP 3. And then I will send you a link to book your time slot and to pay the £150 for the session.
And that’s it! I look forward to hearing from you.
What people say…
I am at a pivotal point in my life and career, and needed someone to (a) help me make sense of the different strands that are emerging and (b) communicate that to the world in a coherent way. I sent a long, rambling email to Nina with all my thoughts and feelings about my interests and options, and she ‘untangled’ it into a meaningful map. Seeing everything laid out in ‘flowchart’ style helped me see the connections between what I’d feared were randomly disparate ideas, and enabled me to gain clarity around what I’m doing.
It’s still early days, but Nina’s input has given me confidence in what I’m doing and started me on my path. I can’t thank her enough. (Gwyneth, artist)
I recently had a session with Nina, and it was everything I could have asked for. I’d spent some time building a list of options for a new business venture, but I had created such an enormous list that I ended up feeling a little overwhelmed.
Nina really helped me clarify my priorities and narrow down my choices, prioritise, and create some actionable steps to achieve my goals. (Sam, freelance writer)
My ‘untangling’ session with Nina was exactly what I hoped for. It was clear that she had taken time beforehand to consider the information I provided in our initial chat and her approach was completely relevant to me and my business. We quickly got into the detail I needed help with.
Nina helped me create a structure to better organise and prioritise my time between current client work, next steps for my company and exploring a new business venture.
Nina is extremely open-minded and easy to talk to. She uses an uncomplicated and powerful framework which has helped me move forward. The follow-up from our session is now a working document for me that I keep returning to as I develop my business further. I highly recommend a chat with Nina. She is an expert in turning ideas into actions! (Liz, health coach)
I reached out to Nina for some help with ideas on promoting my book. My problem was that I had too many ideas and just didn’t know which to choose/where to start/what to do with them all. Nina quickly grasped the nature of my project and helped to bring a sense of calm and structure to what I wanted to achieve.
After our session she sent me some useful templates to complete, having identified with me during our call where I most lacked clarity. Talking it through with her, and then working with her templates, really helped me to see where I wanted to focus my time and energy, and where I might need some extra help/resources in the future.
Nina is very easy to talk with, has a knack for getting to the core of the issue, and is able to offer clarity and new perspectives (especially helpful if you can no longer see the wood for the trees!). (Anna, author)
Why me?
- I’m a qualified coach and an experienced project manager.
- My strengths lie in untangling complex problems, in taking big vague ideas and putting a shape and structure around them, looking at all the details and options, knowing how to follow through to make things happen.
- I’ve been working in the small business world, in the online space and with creative people for over 10 years now. And I’ve been active in my local community helping to organise events and raise money for charity (which often means finding ways to promote events with no marketing budget).
- I’ve done all sorts of different things for my business, which I mainly had to figure out for myself – created my own blogs and websites, launched short courses, run online and in person workshops, managed my own social media and email newsletter, attended networking events, and played an active role in online freelancer communities.
- And of course there are all the projects I’ve managed or worked on for a wide variety of clients in the last 13 years as a freelancer and 10+ years before that as an employee or contractor.
- I have also done some training in working with people who have ADHD – I gained the ADHD Social Media Specialist certification from Brains Behind The Business – which means I have some understanding of how ADHD can impact self-employed life, and content creation processes specifically.
